We named our design philosophy "2X", making clear that we build iStills on twice the strength calculations needed. Double the strength for a quadrupled life expectancy of your iStill of iStillery, relative to other units out there, that are designed around a "1X" design philosophy.
Today we expand on that by introducing a "3X" design philosophy on the iStill boilers. From now onwards, all iStills ordered, from the iStill 250 up to the iStill 5000, will have the new, ultra heavy boiler build. Why the boilers and not the columns? Simple: boilers have moving parts in 'm, columns don't.
