Whisky Day at iStill HQ!

Mark your calendars: September 21st is Whisky Day at the iStill Headquarters in Woerden! An event dedicated to the craft of whisky making, hosted by The Whisky Room - a unique whisky club with members from across The Netherlands.

At the heart of The Whisky Room lies a passion for personal whisky journeys. Each member owns a 10-liter barrel filled with new make spirit, distilled by Loki Distillery. Every two months, members gather to check the progress of their maturing whisky, deciding whether it’s time to bottle or let it age a little longer. Whisky Day is the moment when this shared journey comes to life.

What to Expect

Whisky Day is more than just a tasting. It's a full afternoon of discovery, flavour, and community:

• Barrel tasting & evaluation: Members sample their own whisky and share insights into maturation progress.
• Themed whisky tasting: Enjoy an exclusive lineup of around ten whiskies to nose, taste, and discuss - curated around a special theme.
• New members welcome: Curious whisky lovers can join in for just €25. At the end of the day, if you decide to become a member and purchase your own barrel of new make spirit, the ticket price is deducted from your membership fee.

Over the past years, The Whisky Room has introduced an impressive lineup of Loki Whiskies with bold, mythologically inspired names such as Ragnarok, Atlantis, Freya, and Fenrir. Each one tells a story - not just of flavour, but of craftsmanship and character.
