Introduction
As iStill is now almost 11 years on the market, we see a slow yet steady increase of existing craft distillers purchasing existing iStills from their original owners. On behalf of the iStill Team I wish you a warm welcome to the iStill Family! Please be informed that we will treat you as any other customer. And that we expect you to treat us in the same manner. What that entails? That we want you to learn how to distill with the iStill and that we want you to connect with us as well as with your fellow iStillers. Let's dive in deeper!
Connect, Register, Upgrade, and Check (mandatory)
If you buy a second hand iStill, we want to get to know you! So please reach out to us, and inform us about your distillery (name, location, contact person) and about what iStill you bought (type, serial number). Based on your information, we'll plan an upgrade session, where we'll put the latest software on your iStill. We'll also check run hours and alarms, and inform you accordingly.
The software upgrade and check-up of your second hand iStill costs EUR 500,-. Please connect and register with us via an email to Finance@iStillmail.com. Finance will invoice you for the software upgrade and alarms check. After you paid the invoice our Support Department will propose a date and time for the upgrade and check-up to take place.
Online Craft Distillers Course (mandatory)
All our customers are expected to at least follow iStill's amazing online craft distillers course. The goal of this training is to teach you how to distill with the iStill, and how to make the best spirits possible. The course curriculum teaches you how the iStill is designed to support your craft distillery. You will also learn how to make rum, gin, vodka, whisky, and liqueurs to the best of your abilities. As such, you can see the training as a very good and very steep learning curve. And that's why we expect everyone that purchases an iStill to do the online craft distillers course.

Hands-on Master Distillers Course (voluntary)
As a follow-up to the online craft distillers course, we offer a 4-day practical master distillers course. Even though this course comes highly recommended, and most of our customers follow it, it is not mandatory.
The hands-on master distillers course costs EUR 2.495,-. If you want to purchase both the online and hands-on courses together, you are discounted EUR 1.500,- on the total sum. To learn more or to register, please reach out to Veronika@iStillmail.com.
iStill Facebook Group (voluntary)
As you have finished your online education, you too can become a member of the iStill Facebook Group. It is the place where all our customers connect and help each other out. Only customers that successfully graduated for the online craft distillers training are allowed access to the iStill Facebook Group. Do you now own a second hand iStill and is it upgraded? Did you finish the online course successfully? Then please reach out to Veronika@iStillmail.com and ask for the iStill Facebook Group membership.
iStill Support (voluntary)
When new customers of second hand iStills need support, they can purchase support hours. Four hours of support cost EUR 500,-. We use these first four hours of consultancy to check the assembly of the iStill, and to help you during your first mash, fermentation, and distillation runs. These support hours can be purchased via Finance@iStillmail.com.
