iStill Mini Updates!

Introduction

The iStill Mini is the global standard of recipe development and training stills. With about 350 units sold, it serves craft distillers from Alaska to Australia, and from Chili to Japan. A winner? You bet! Never change a winning team? Nah, that's not the iStill-way forward. This iStill Blog post reveals two new updates that make the iStill Mini even better value for money. Lower pricing

As a result of a more variable pricing strategy (see: https://istillblog.com/2023/10/26/empowering-the-industry-via-variable-pricing/) the current price of the iStill Mini is lowered from EUR 5.000,- to EUR 4.000,-. We predict that the lower price will result in more people being able to purchase the iStill Mini. And that will result in more craft distillers honing their distilling skills as well as improved craft spirits recipes. Better trained craft distillers that make better spirits? Sounds like the way forward to us! But what do you think? Please leave any comments underneath.

Adding automation

A price reduction is one thing, but why not make the iStill Mini a more valuable asset as well? More affordable and more valuable? That sounds like a great solution. Especially if we can add value for both new and existing iStill Mini customers.

What we have in mind? An automation suite for the iStill Mini. With a cuts selector and multiple thermometer probes, just like the big production units have. The automation will be an option. You can order the iStill Mini as it is right now. Or you can add the automation suite as an option. If you already have an iStill Mini, you can upgrade by retrofitting the automation at any given time.

We expect to introduce this option in Q1 2024.
