Stranger & Sons Lets Loose New Sherry Cask Aged Gin

Goa's very own Stranger & Sons is debuting a new Sherry Cask Aged Gin that uses ex-Amontillado and Oloroso Sherry casks to age their gins for a year post distillation. On top of that, the gin has been infused with wild honey originating from the forests of South India, as well as Cascara - the dried husks of coffee cherries - sourced from Chikmagalur.

This elaborate process has created flavours of sweet dark fruit, nuts, wood and spice, all of which is balanced against the sweet honey.

The new release will be available in select parts of India including Maharashtra, Haryana, Karnataka and Goa, with prices ranging from US$26.60 to US$52.00 depending on location.
