Good morning Odin, Greetings from Namibia. Hope you are doing well and as busy as can be. I was just thinking, can you not develop the 200 - 500 litre complete distillery in a container? Includes packing, storage and other requirements. I had bought such saline water purification plants in 20 feet container from China. Entrepreneurs just need to plug the system to power line, no need for a building, may another container as office and storage. This would make life easy, just have a plot of land and bingo. I understand there could be few licensing requirements but if that can be overcome, this may be a good idea. May be i can run the plant like this for six months in upper Lapland and six months nearby to Helsinki. Regards Valmik Soni

The ols school distillers in the mass market would have to seriously up their game to meet the quality of the new era distillers thus cutting profitability for bulk distilling considerably. Retrofication of the aged distillery would be expensive and probably prohibitive in many instances. It is a lot easier for a craft distiller to make his cuts compared to "what comes out is what goes in the barrel" processes. Modifications to the copper dinosaurs output production line would invoke a huge logistical challenge for them, not that it couldn't be overcome, but the emphasis of the heritage and name seems to overshadow the willingness to forego the expense and effort to try. Coke Cola has not held true to the original methods and product lines as an example, but in their case probably should have!
