Placing the Easy Lifting System is a one time affair. You put two collars into place and bold them tight. You then connect the wingnuts and rods. The Easy Lifting System is now in place. You don't need to adjust it or remove it when you don't use it. So if you want to run the iStill 250 without the catalyst/gin head, you can just leave it on. But if you do want to insert the catalyst AKA gin head, you now just turn the wingnuts and thus lift the main column. Placing (or re-placing) the catalyst is perfectly possible within 10 minutes. Here's an example of how the Easy Lifting System is installed and how the iCatalyst can be added:

Install the collars ...

Add the lifting rods ...

Raise the column & insert the iCatalyst ...

Tighten the bolds ...

Ready to go!
