Tomorrow, I am going to reassemble the rig I usually play around with. First, that was a regular iStill 50. For some time now, it has been the iStill VISION.
This is what I am going to do. I am going to take the glass column of the VISION "see through" boiler. It will be replaced by the all new 4 probe array SS column. With an iCatalyst underneath.
The reason for the reassembly? I want to do a new performance run. On iStill TV you can see the original iStill 50column produced up to 3.5 liters of 96% per hour. On a 30% low wines charge, that was.
I can't wait to find out how much the improved column, in combination with added power management, will add. Not sure I can do that run tomorrow, since I have some 180 liters of rye bread beer to strip first, but I will let you know later this week.
Here's a poll. How much of pure Azeotrope do you think the newly reasssembled iStill 50 with power management will produce per hour?
