As it turns out, some professional distillers use our pads to improve the performance of their existing product coolers (not iStills!). The pads are inserted into the vapor path. Inside the Liebig, so to say. They brake up the vapor and liquid flow and allow for more contact between the cooling surface of the Liebig and the gasses/liquids that need to be cooled down. So ... now that I learned this, I finally understand why we get orders for like 30+ pads on one go sometimes.
